Samstag, als ich joggen ging, glaubte ich meinen Augen nicht zu trauen: Da war
doch tatsächlich jemand, der Abfall auf dem Strand aufräumte! - Klar konnte ich
es mir nicht verkneifen ein Gespräch mit ihm zu suchen: Es war Waleed, geboren
und aufgewachsen in Kairo und nun seit fast drei Jahren wohnhaft und Arbeit in
Holland. Bald fanden wir heraus, dass die an Wahnsinn grenzende Corona Hysterie
uns beide aus Europa vertrieben hatte und wir aus dem gleichen Grund nach El
Fayrouz gereist waren... Ägypten ist momentan eines der wenigen Länder, in die
man ohne Impfung einreisen konnte!
On Saturday, when I went for a run, I couldn't believe my eyes: Indeed there was a person cleaning the beach! - Of course I couldn't resist get into conversation with him: It was Waleed, born and raised in Cairo and now living and working in Holland for almost three years. We soon found out that the sheer deliriousness of the hysteria about corona had driven us both out of Europe and we had travelled to El Fayrouz for the same reason... Egypt is currently one of the few countries that you are able to enter without vaccination!

Am
nächsten Tag nahm ich René mit zu Waleeds Strand und wir sammelten an 2 Abenden
mit vereinten Kräften 46 grosse Abfallsäcke ein! : )) Nur erwies es sich als
sehr schwierig jemanden zu finden, der die Säcke entsorgt... denn die Eingänge
zum Strand sind privat und daher verriegelt! : ( - Fortsetzung folgt...

The next day I took René to Waleeds beach and we collected 46 large
garbage bags in 2 evenings! : )) Only it proved very difficult to find someone
to take the bags from the beach... because the entrances to the beach are
private and therefore locked! : ( - To be continued…
