Am 16.1. wechselte ich meine Wohnung hier im Turtles Beach Resort Hurghada und so auch den Vermieter... Es gibt verschiedene Firmen hier im Resort, die nicht nur ihre eigenen Apartments vermieten sondern auch die von Ausländern, die nur ihren Urlaub hier verbringen. Ich buchte bei Seaview Turtles (https://seaview-turtles.business.site) im Internet von der Schweiz aus und bezahlte 25% mehr, als man vor Ort bezahlt... das fand ich schnell heraus und es war OK für mich. Aber als ein 2. Monat im G2.9 nicht viel weniger kostete, streckte ich meine Fühler aus und traf mich mit Ahmed von VTGooo (https://www.vtgooo.com). Ich werde zwar die Aussicht aufs Grüne und die hübsche Villa vermissen, aber 25 % günstiger und die viel hübschere Wohnung A5.1 mit Safe, richtigem Backofen und viel Stauraum liessen mich nicht zweimal überlegen! : )

On the 16^th of January I changed my apartment here at Turtles Beach Resort Hurghada and the landlord too... There are various companies here at the resort which not only rent out their own apartments but also those of foreigners who only spend their holidays here. I booked with Seaview Turtles (https://seaview-turtles.business.site) on the internet from Switzerland and paid 25% more than what you pay on site... I found out quickly and it was OK for me. But when a 2nd month in G2.9 didn't cost much less, I put out my antennas and got it contact with Ahmed from VTGooo (https://www.vtgooo.com). I will miss the view of verdure and the pretty villa, but 25% cheaper and the much nicer apartment A5.1 with a safe, a real oven and lots of storage space didn't make me think twice! : )

Ich bereite mir meist mein spätes Frühstück selbst zu und gehe abends irgendwo essen - oder dann umgekehrt. Der ganze Aufwand mit Zeit, Kosten, Schleppen und Kochen der Einkäufe lohnt sich gar nicht nur für 1 Person bei den erschwinglichen Preisen in den Restaurants hier in El Fayrouz - und so komme ich doch etwas unter die Leute.

I usually prepare my late breakfast at home and go out for dinner somewhere in the evening - or vice versa. The whole effort of time, cost, carrying and cooking of groceries is not worth for 1 person only at the affordable prices in the restaurants here in El Fayrouz - and that's how I socialize a bit.

Hier in Ägypten macht das Einkaufen richtig Spass in den kleinen Läden mit den freundlichen Leuten! Khaled zum Beispiel, wo ich grosse Wasser kaufe, bringt mich mit seinem Auto nach Hause. Es ist auch immer wieder spannend herauszufinden was es wo gibt... Es gibt hier zwar den grossen Laden BestWay, als ich ihn abcheckte, bemerkte ich jedoch, dass ich die europäische Ware gar nicht benötige, die 10 x eingepackt mit langem Weg nach Ägypten in den Regalen liegt. Ich bevorzuge es in den kleinen Geschäften einzukaufen einen Schwatz zu haben und die Leute über den Plastikunsinn aufzuklären... Plastiksäcke werden immer zum Einkauf abgegeben – auch wenn es auch nur 1 Artikel ist. Ich bringe stets meine grosse feste Kunststofftasche und vielen kleinere Stoffsäcke mit und erkläre weshalb...

Here in Egypt shopping is really fun in the small shops with friendly people! Khaled for example, where I buy large bottles of water, takes me home in his car. And it's exciting to find out what is available where... There is a big BestWay store, but when I checked it out I noticed that I don't need the European goods at all, which are packed 10 times and need a long way onto shelves in Egypt. I prefer shopping in the little shops having a chat and educating people about the plastic nonsense... Plastic bags are always given away with a purchase - even if it's just 1 item. I always bring my big, solid plastic bag and many smaller cotton bags with me and explain why...

Bondok von meinem Lieblingsobst- und Gemüseladen nahm mich eines Abends mit zum Grosseinkauf nach Shedar in Hurghada. Das war lustig und all die Männer waren verwundert und neugierig über den weissen weiblichen Besuch... und wollten Selfies. : )

Ich liebe die Natur und ihre Schönheit… sie auf Fotos festzuhalten ist wie ein Bild zu malen, aber manchmal schwierig weil es immer mehr Müll auszublenden gibt! Ich reiste schon fast in 100 Ländern unserer Erde und musste feststellen, dass die Menschen sich an Müll überall gewöhnen und Kinder schon gar nicht wissen, wie die Welt ohne aussieht… : ( - Dass man Abfall fallen lässt ist eine natürliche Intuition, das macht jedes Lebewesen, nur ist es heute nicht mehr organisch was man fallen lässt! Das Leben ist Recycling und Veränderung… nur: Wie kann man zur Weiterverbreitung und Recycling beitragen, wenn alles unter Plastik erstickt!? Die Menschen benehmen sich, als ob der Planet ihnen gehört… und tragen keine Sorge zur Natur, die unsere Ressource ist! : ( - Wie kommt das nur??

I love nature and its beauty...capturing it in photos is like painting a picture, but sometimes difficult because there is always more rubbish to avoid! I've travelled to almost 100 countries around the world and noticed that people get used to garbage everywhere and children don't even know what the world looks like without it… : ( - That we drop waste is a natural intuition, every living being does that, only today it is no longer organic what we drop! Life is recycling and change… only: How can you contribute to proliferation and recycling if everything is suffocating under the plastic!? People behave as if they own the planet... and don't care about nature, which is our resource! : ( - But how come??

Es fehlt an Bewusstheit… und Verbindung zur Natur, welche durch die Industrialisierung in wenigen Jahrzehnten abgebrochen wurde. Auf meinen vielen Reisen konnte ich feststellen, dass es immer noch Urvölker gibt, die mit der Natur leben und sie respektieren... Die westliche Zivilisation geht mehr und mehr einem virtuellen Leben entgegen, lässt sich von Medien erziehen und fokussiert aufs gute Geld statt auf gute Taten! Glücklicherweise sind nicht alle blind oder geblendet und an allen Ecken der Welt hat ein Umdenken begonnen. : ))

It’s lack of awareness... and connection to nature, which was broken off in a few decades by industrialization. On my many travels I have learned that there are still indigenous peoples who live with nature and respect it... Western civilization is increasingly moving towards a virtual life, is educated by media and focuses on good money instead of good deeds! Fortunately, not everyone is blind or blinded, and a rethink has begun in every nook and corner of the world. : ))

Ja, wie immer: Gedanke - Wort - Tat! Nur die Tat ist Realität... wir können selber entscheiden wofür wir unsere Energien einsetzten... Es gibt 2 Optionen: Lernen und sich weiterentwickeln oder Entschuldigungen suchen und stillstehen... Weshalb sind Menschen nur zu träge um Erkenntnisse umzusetzen und Gewohnheiten (Kultur, System) umzudenken um in Neues und Besseres zu verwandeln?? - Wir sind vom System zu sehr konditioniert und glauben an Sicherheit (was es gar nicht gibt)... unser Kopf wird mit Dingen zugepflastert, die für ein finanziell erfolgreiches Leben notwendig sind! : ( Dabei lehrt uns die Natur alles... Lernen, wenn wir es wirklich benötigen, ist nachhaltig. Wir können alles, wenn wir wollen oder müssen... unser Gehirn ist fast zu allem fähig, wir müssen es nur aktivieren! Beobachten und zuhören - nicht bereits wissen! - Mühsam erlangen wir abhandengekommenes Wissen wieder, lernen unsere Intuition zu schulen, ihr zu vertrauen und folgen: Erst wenn wir etwas tun, sehen wir was daraus wird… denn alles, was wir wissen, ist Vergangenheit… weshalb also nicht die Fühler ausstrecken? Wir können die Richtung jederzeit ändern und lernen dabei flexibel zu sein: Alles verändert sich kontinuierlich - Leben ist Veränderung!

Yes, as always: thought - word - action! Only action is reality... we can decide ourselves what for we use our energies... There are 2 options: Learning and developing or looking for excuses and standing still... Why are people just too lazy to implement knowledge and overthink habits (culture, system) to transform it into something new and better?? - We're too conditioned by the system and believe in security (which doesn't exist)... our heads get plastered with things necessary for a financially successful life! : ( Nature teaches us everything... Learning when we really need it is sustainable. We can do anything if we want or have to... our brain is capable of almost anything, we just have to activate it! Observe and listen – we don’t know it yet! - We laboriously regain lost knowledge, learn to train our intuition in order to trust and follow it: Only if we do something, we will see the outcome... because everything we know is the past... so why not put out sensors? We can change direction at any time and learn to be flexible: Everything is changing constantly - life is change!

Vor allem beim Joggen fällt mir der Abfall auf… und da ich lieber tatkräftig verändere als zu meckern, musste ich wohl oder übel auch hier in Ägypten mit meinem kleinen Projekt clean & clear beginnen, das ich 2014 in Marokko startete (https://franziskaaeschbach11.blogspot.com/2014/10/2609-5102014-essaouira.html?fbclid=IwAR348OGudp6dPEoRguwK5GtZ79kOArk-0Orhd26-2W-9Pt1FbYnD2enalrQ). Schon am ersten Tag nach 20 Minuten kam der erste Helfer: René! : ) Gemeinsam geht alles schneller und macht doppelt Spass. Ohne Erwartungen werden wir immer wieder überrascht… und wenn wir etwas mit Hingabe (Zeit, Energie und Herz) tun, dann lernen wir beobachten und sind offen für Neues… wir fühlen, dass jeder Teil des Ganzen ist, wie wir wächst und sich Vertrauen in die Natur und uns selbst setzt… Ja, wir können nur uns selbst kontrollieren – auch ob wir uns aus irgendwelchen Gründen kontrollieren lassen wollen… Es ist harte Arbeit,, aber ein gutes Beispiel oder Vorbild zu sein ist bestimmt das Höchste, das wir in unserem Leben erlangen können!?

The first helper arrived after 20 minutes on the first day: René! : ) Jointly everything goes faster and is twice as much fun. With no expectations we always will get surprised... and when we do something with dedication (time, energy and heart) we learn to observe and be open for new things... we feel like everybody is part of the whole, how we grow and learn to trust in nature and ourself... Yes, we can only control ourselves - even if we want to be controlled for any reason... It's hard work but being a good example or role model is definitely the highest we can achieve in life!?

Viele Länder sind sich nicht bewusst, dass ihre alte Denk- und Handlungsweise eigentlich die richtige war, und haben sich blind vertrauend kontinuierlich an die westliche Konsumgesellschaft angepasst… hoffentlich auch, dass aus Abfall Energie und Geld gemacht werden kann! Wenn jeder Mensch bei sich selbst beginnt und einfache, kleine Dinge im Haushalt verändert – wird sich sehr schnell grosser Wandel und Veränderung einstellen:

Many countries are not aware that their old way of thinking and acting was actually the right one but they continuously adapted to western consumer society with blind trust… hopefully also that waste can be turned into energy and money! If everyone starts with themselves changing simple, small things in the household - great change in way of life will occur very quickly:

Mein monatlicher Hausabfall beträgt nicht mehr als ein ½ Abfallsack, stinkt nicht und ist leicht, wenn ich meine organischen Küchenabfälle als Kompost (statt Chemikalien) benutze und Glas, Papier und Plastik zum Recyceln sammle! - Stell dir mal vor, wenn das jeder Mensch tun würde…

My monthly household waste is no more than ½ a rubbish bag, doesn't stink and is light as I use my organic kitchen waste for compost (instead of chemicals) and collect glass, paper and plastic for recycling! - Imagine if every human being did that...
